My favorite thing about games is playing them, second.... talking about them. So read on, and join the conversation! I have been playing a game called Hyper Lander recently. It's a cool twist on the lunar lander motif with a lot of features that other lander games never had. This is the title screen from the game.

If you are having trouble learning to play the game maybe I can help. I thought the biggest challenge was learning to fly the ship. It can be pretty nerve racking to smash into walls uncontrollably. I found that simply being calm and keeping my fingers on the same keys helped the most.

The Flight Controls:
The keyboard is the easiest controller to use for playing. The keys are very simple to learn. The up arrow is the main thruster, the down arrow is a smaller thruster (the game calls it a station keeping thruster). The left and right arrows are thrusters corresponding to left and right movement.

The key to successful navigation:
The key is to know which thruster to use, and when. The main thruster is the best for slowing a fast decent, or for accelating upward quickly (such as in a take off). The thruster stays on the whole time the key is held down, so simply hold the key down until you need to turn off the thruster then let off the key. I had trouble switching between thrusters until I got used to using my middle finger for both, and my index finger for the left thruster, and my ring finger for the right thruster.
